Maggie Hawlicheck has been the director of Heart of the Valley Chorus since 1999. Every week she
travels to our rehearsals in Massachusetts from Connecticut, where she is a baritone section leader and Assistant Director
for Sound of New England Chorus. Maggie minored in Music Education in college, but she credits her barbershop education to
her 29 years as a Sweet Adeline. Maggie, retired from 34 years of teaching 5th graders, is a fantastic director - teaching
is in her blood. We're very fortunate to have her as our director. We love Maggie!
